A Genuine Antique

Fran Fudge's 18th-century home in West Sussex has an uncluttered and calm feel

When Fran and Brian bought this beamed home that dates back to 1704, they immediately set about planning how to adapt the house to 21st century family life, without destroying the character of the historic, listed building. The house is furnished in antiques, which Fran brings back from her frequent trips to France, where she also sources antiques for her nearby shop in the picturesque Ardingly.
